Pixi Beauty Vitamin-C Range Review

I absolutely love and adore Pixi Beauty and I’ve been using their skincare for years. I was gifted the Pixi Beauty Vitamin-C range for review over summers. This range consists of 5 power packed Skin Treats that provide radiance to your skin. I have been using the range ever since I received it and my skin has thanked this addition to my skincare routine.

Pixi Vitamin-C Range

This range consists of Vitamin-C which brightens, Ferulic acid that helps absorb it into the skin along with providing antioxidant protection and Probiotics that strengthen and balance the skin. The products contain orange blossom and zesty grapefruit go give them a refreshing scent that’s not too overpowering.

Benefits of Vitamin-C in your skincare:

There are huge benefits of incorporating Vitamin-C in to your skincare routine. It brightens skin for a more youthful glow. The Vitamin-C strengthens and balances the skin for a radiant complexion and antioxidants in it help protect against free radicals. With regular use it boosts luminosity leaving your skin with a gorgeous glow which is what we are all after! Remember to use a sunblock if you use skincare with Vitamin-C as skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight with use of these products.

Pixi Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser

This is a brightening, no rinse cleanser that you apply on a cotton pad and swipe it over your skin to remove makeup and brighten your skin. I love this as a second cleanse so my skin can benefit from all the lovely ingredients. It comes in a very handy pump bottle but be sure to press the cotton pad on the top firmly so the cleanser doesn’t splutter everywhere. I learnt it the hard way! My skin was visibly brightened and clean after using this. I do avoid using it on my eyes because of my eye area being eczema prone.

150ml bottle retails for £18 and its available here.

Pixi Vitamin-C Tonic

I love all the Pixi tonics as they are a very gentle way of introducing your skin to different ingredients. This Vitamin-C tonic is a brightening toner that you use after cleansing. It will promote healthy collagen production while gently exfoliating dead skin cells. I’ve been using this toner way before I was gifted the range and I absolutely love it. It leaves my skin super bright and exfoliated, ready for the rest of my skincare to get soaked in.

A 250ml bottle retails for £18 and its available here.

Pixi Vitamin-C serum

This serum comes with a dropper and a separate lid for travelling. I use this after cleansing and toning and with regular use I’ve seen an improvement in my skin tone and my complexion has been smoother. I use it in mornings and it’s perfect as the ingredients in this are proven to reduce the effect of sun damage and free radicals. It provides an added glow to my skin and absorbs really quickly. The texture is sticky gel like but it changes completely when applied to the skin. Mostly 2 drops are enough for my face and neck.

A 30ml bottle retails for £26 and you can get it here.

Pixi Vitamin-C Lotion

This is a skin brightening and moisturising lotion with added benefits of boosting skin luminosity, healthy collagen production and potent Vitamin-C antioxidant power. It comes in a tube that keeps the Vitamin-C from oxidizing. The texture is light and absorbs really quickly in to the skin leaving it hydrated, soft and glowing. It balances the skin perfectly without being too heavy. It’s perfect for all skin types but sometimes I feel it’s too light for my eczema prone skin so I go in with something thicker if needed.

A 50ml tube retails for £24 and you can get it here.

Pixi Vitamin-C Caviar Balm

This is a gorgeous mask with encapsulated vitamins. Once you apply it to your face and massage the product in, the vitamins melt and absorb into the skin leaving it nourished and providing it with a boost of Vitamin-C. It comes in a tube form and it’s such a treat to use. It leaves my skin so nourished but I did feel the scent was slightly strong in this mask probably because of the encapsulated vitamins.

A 45ml tube is for £24  and it is available here.

My thoughts on the Pixi Beauty Vitamin-C range

I absolutely love all the products and they are a lovely addition to my skincare routine. My skin has benefited from all the ingredients and I have seen the change. My skin has gradually become brighter and smoother for sure. I mix and match these products with other skincare to increase the benefits. These products are very gentle on the skin and they are paraben free, vegan, gluten free and phthalate free. The gentleness of this range ensures I can use it on my sensitive skin without any worries. The scent is so refreshing and unlike other Vitamin-C products that smell a lot like citrus dish detergent or can be overpowering at times.

The Pixi Beauty Vitamin-C range is available from Boots, Marks & Spencer, Cult beauty and I think the best time to try out this range would be when Boots has a 3 for 2 offer on.
