Recently I was sent the new Hempz Herbal Body Moisturiser from their new Citrine and Quartz range. As some of you may know already through my Instagram posts, I suffer from dry skin/eczema prone skin. So I’m always on the look out for good moisturising and nourishing skincare.

Hempz Citrine Crystal and Quartz Herbal Body Moisturiser
The Hempz Citrine Crystal and Quartz Herbal Body Moisturiser contains a blend of revitalising orange, citrus, mandarin, lemon and grapefruit oils to. This blend of oils transforms your skin to the most positive state of mind. This moisturiser is sparkling and it smells heavenly. It gives the most gorgeous glow when applied on skin also nourishing and hydrating skin it at the same time.
This moisturiser includes ingredients such as hemp oil, quartz, vitamin C, citrus oil and shea butter. The essential fatty acids in hemp oil help to replenish and moisturise the skin. Quartz is a natural gemstone that gives the natural illuminating effect to the skin. Vitamin C in this moisturiser is a brilliant antioxidant with anti ageing benefits that boost collagen and reduces any signs of fine lines and wrinkles. Citrus oil has degreasing and skin brightening properties that help to cleanse, moisturise and balance skin. Finally shea butter helps to moisturise and hydrate dehydrated skin at the same time give the skin a smooth feel.
My Thoughts
The moisturiser comes in a pump bottle and when you look at the bottle you can see the sparkling moisturiser shining through the bottle.It has beautiful specs of sparkle that gave the skin a gorgeous glow. The sparkle that comes from a natural gemstone is gentle on the skin and it did not leave my body looking like a glitter bomb. It provides a very gentle glow that is perfect for summers so you could take it on holiday or just moisturise yourself and soak the sunshine.
The scent of this Moisturiser is absolutely heavenly. It has a beautiful citrusy smell that is not too overpowering but just leaves the skin with a really gorgeous scent. Therefore when I applied it, I just couldn’t stop smelling my skin. I did feel like a druggie at one point!
This beautifully scented moisturiser left my skin nourished and hydrated. Previously some of the moisturisers that I’ve tried would always end up leaving my skin greasy but this one absorbed really quickly leaving my skin with a sparkly glow. The citrus oil, vitamin C or any other ingredients did not irritate my sensitive/ eczema prone skin.
A Moisturiser perfect for summers
One application of this moisturiser and my skin felt really soft and smooth. Before I tried this moisturiser I was sceptical about the sparkle in it. After I tried it, I feel that the sparkle just adds a gorgeous illuminated effect to the skin and I can’t wait to use it now that the Sun is out. I’m sure when the sun shines on my skin, the sparkle will look stunning! I’ll also be taking it on holiday in summers so that my skin would be nourished along with having a gorgeous summer glow to it.
Since the bottle is pretty big in size, my tip would be to decant it into a smaller travel size bottle. This will ensure that that the moisturiser stays travel friendly. As a result my body would be hydrated, soft and silky smooth during holiday.
