I’ve always really liked the liquid lipsticks from Huda Beauty so the latest launch of Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipsticks got me really excited and when I went to into Selfridges, I picked up one of the shades called Graduation Day. I’ve also done a swatch of the lipstick I purchased.
Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick Packaging
The lipsticks really do look like bullets. The packaging is sleek and sturdy and the lipstick looks like a diamond. The shape of the lipstick really stands out on the makeup counters. I fell in love straight away!
Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick Shade Range
The lipsticks come in 8 matte shades that include nudes, pinks and some slightly deeper shades. The one shade that really caught my attention and that stood out from the rest was Graduation Day. It’s a beautiful brownish nude that will really suit brown skin tones. I normally tend to go for pinks and Pool Party really caught my attention too but Graduation Day was love at first sight. There’s a nude for every skin tone!
Huda Beauty Power Bullet Matte Lipstick Graduation Day Colour Pay Off
The colour pay off is insane. One swipe and you get the most pigmented colour pay off I’ve seen. The formula is matte but creamy so it doesn’t feel drying at all. It glides on so easily, something I really didn’t expect from a formula that is so matte. It lasted a good 6 hours and even longer on my lips. It’s an insanely beautiful lipstick and the formula is gorgeous. I would honestly purchase a few more shades if I could.

I absolutely love this lipstick and never have I ever gone in to a store to purchase a lipstick right after it’s launch. I try to act a little sensible but this time I was blown away by the shades which I felt were perfect for Asian skin tones.
