Hollywood Browzer Dermaplaning Tool Review

The Hollywood Browzer Dermaplaning Tool is no 1 in the Uk. I’ve always been intrigued by it. All the videos that have popped up on Instagram and Facebook over the last few years have made me want to try them out but never really got the chance to. So, when I was sent the Hollywood Browzer to review, I kind of jumped at the opportunity. One is sold every 30 seconds and its loved by celebrities all over the world.

Anyway thanks to lockdown, I wasn’t able to make my regular salon trip. I decided to give this tool a go even though I did feel a tiny bit anxious and unsure about how to best use it. So I’ve tried to answer some of the questions I had in mind and I’m sure you guys must too.

So what is the Hollywood Browzer Dermaplaning Tool?

It is a tool that helps to shape eyebrows, remove hair and exfoliate (dermaplaning). The process is quick, pain free and easy. This tool removes hair while exfoliating the skin at the same time which is also known as dermaplaning.

What are the benefits of dermaplaning?

The use of Hollywood Browzer for dermaplaning instantly reveals smooth and radiant skin. Since it removes hair and exfoliates at the same time, makeup applies so much better and has a flawless finish. It also helps skincare to penetrate more effectively.

Where can the Hollywood Browzer Dermaplaning Tool be used?

The Hollywood Browzer can be used on brows, lips, fingers, hairline, sideburns, chin, toes, stray hairs, peach fuzz, bikini line and back of neck. I’ve personally only used it on my forehead, brows and face.

What’s the difference between using Hollywood Browzer dermaplaning tool and shaving?

The Hollywood Browzer removes hair and exfoliates at the same time. It gets rid of any dead skin cells and leaves skin looking radiant, makeup applies flawlessly and skincare penetrates effectively as there’s no longer a barrier of hair and dead skin cells to block products from seeping into the skin.

Will my hair come back darker and thicker? Will my hair growth increase?

Which skin type is it suitable for?

The Hollywood Browzer is suitable for all skin types even sensitive skin. As with all blades, be careful when you use it so you don’t cut your skin. I have sensitive, eczema prone skin and this tool caused no issues for me.

How to use it?

Firstly make sure your face is cleansed and free of any oils. You can even go in with any toner to remove traces of makeup/oils left on your skin. Then hold the tool in a 45 degree angle and use short, feathery strokes going in a downward direction. Be careful and go slow. Getting the angle right is important and that’s the part I found slightly tricky but once you get the hang of it, its remarkably easy and quick. I also use calming/soothing skincare after using this tool or any other hair removal tool.

My Thoughts on the Hollywood Browzer Dermaplaning Tool:

As someone who’s been removing facial hair since teenage years through waxing, threading and shaving, I could instantly see the benefits of using the Hollywood Browzer. My skin looked extremely smooth, immensely soft to touch, makeup and skincare applied so well. There’s no darkness on my skin due to hair and no peach fuzz that shines though when sunlight hits. I used it on my eyebrows too and it was so easy and quick to clean up the area around my eyebrows. I use the ultra soft, velvet puff to wipe any hair of the tool. My hair grows back exactly the same and there’s no reason why I wouldn’t use the Hollywood Browzer. I’ve been eyeing up the eyebrow tool as well which is slightly smaller in size so more precision.

I Highly recommend the Hollywood Browzer if you want to get rid of unwanted hair and you want super smooth skin. I can promise you, you’d be surprised at how flawless your makeup will look after using the Hollywood Browzer dermaplaning tool.
